After a battle with G.U.N. Sonic’s day would continue his duty on protecting the world GUN on the other hand got their hands on a piece of Sonic’s DNA, his fur. Using this G.U.N. would create their own sonic. Use him to stop wars but they would have to keep one thing secret, he could not figure out he wasn't the real sonic, so they took precautions so it wouldn't happen. During his time training, the G.U.N. lab sonic (G.U.N. 's sonic) had a friendship with one of the guards named jake. Unlike the other guards Jake treated this sonic like his son, it came to the point where the sonic would accidentally call Jake “dad” or “father” and this bond was real. And after his first mission on taking down a shootout in paradise city jake gave the sonic a flower which the sonic called “his pet” and named it "paul” since he wasn’t allowed to have pets in the facility. He cherished the plant, Jake helping the sonic take care of paul. For months the sonic was sent on missions, being told that the opposite teams are just robots and the liquid they spilled wasn't blood but a substance they learned that helps plants grow better. But after his 50th mission the sonic was put through a difficult test, he even got injured in the process, Jake was there and wanted to go in to help but was stopped and brought out of the room, that was the last I saw of jake. After a couple days i started to worry, i haven't seen Jake in a while but usually I see him everyday. With the combination of missions, tests, and worrying about Jake, I forgot to feed him and he died. The only thing I have left of Jake and Paul, was a picture we took together a couple weeks ago, and I didn't want anything to happen to that picture. After a couple days of thinking he made up his mind, he will escape. But first he needed to find Jake, so that night he snuck out of his cell and started to wander the halls, making sure to stay out of camera’s view, he came across a bad smelling room, unable to see what's behind the door he stood there in shock of the smell. Soon his curiosity got the better of him and he entered the room. He stood there in horror, people lying there motionless on stretchers covered in a teal tarp, he walked around seeing the bodies of fallen soldier as he came upon one with it’s hand sticking out, it look exactly like jake’s hand, he thought his mind was playing tricks on him, thinking that couldn’t be jake…right? So in order to prove himself wrong he pulled off the tarp only to see Jake's motionless body. The sonic stood there in pure shock, and just as quickly he started to cry, his one best friend, the person who cared for him, was gone, taken by the same people that created him. After a bit of grieving the sonic pushed forward and left the room to find an escape, eventually he was just down the hall from the exit, but out of carelessness and eyes blurry from crying he triggered an alarm setting off sirens and started to close off the exit, so the sonic only had one option…run, and run he did and just as he was about to exit the building it slammed down on his arm cause agonizing pain of his arm being crushed beneath the steel door until eventually it was torn straight off, but instead of crying in pain the sonic ran and ran until he came across a truck importing robots to the G.U.N base and he broke into it and instinctively tore off a robot’s arm and connected it to where is arm used to be and with some scrap he found inside the truck created his own makeshift arm. After all that, the sonic left the truck and ran into the forest to hide out for the night. He cried himself that night, his sobs barely heard from outside the forest. When he woke up he decided to explore and eventually found a village of Mobians, not sure what the townsfolk might think of him he wandered about the village in the shadows to no be seen and he ripped off a curtain to one of the villager’s houses to form his own cape which he covers his robotic arm with it, from that day forward he vowed to take down all of G.U.N. to avenge his best friend jake.
